Tailoring Your Box

It is important to us that you receive a box each week that is filled with the things you like the most and which you will use. We therefore have a couple of systems whereby you can influence your box contents.

Permanent Preferences

This is by far the simplest and most popular way of ordering your box. Essentially it is a list of things that you would never want to see in your box, although you can also stipulate changes to your 'base' items. You can also add any of our ‘additional items’, bread or eggs to your regular order.
Once we have defined your ‘perfect box’ you will automatically receive this order each week, but you are still welcome to make alterations as and when required.

Please Note. Most alterations will be assumed to be for one week only, so please ensure that you clearly state that you want to change your permanent preferences if this is what you want to do. Soon, you will be able to do this by signing in to the 'Memebers Homepage' on this website.

You are allowed a maximum of 5 permanent preferences, so to help you get the box that is best suited to your requirements here are a few guidelines…
* Items such as hot chillies and fresh herbs are usually only put in the boxes if specifically requested, so there is not much point in asking not to have these.
* Don’t ask not to receive an item just because you are unsure of what it is or you don’t know how to prepare it. One of the joys of box scheme membership is that you get to experience new varieties that are not usually found in the supermarkets. Remember, we are always happy to help with identification and preparation ideas.
* Try to keep it simple. The more items you have on your list the harder it becomes for our box packers to put a full selection of produce in your box.

Select your box contents from our 'Pieces & Fillers' list

Our unique ‘Pieces & Fillers’ system gives you the opportunity to pick exactly what items your box contains each week. The list is updated each week on this website and soon it will appear as an interactive feature on the 'Members Homepage'. By viewing the 'pieces & Fillers' list you also get to find out who has grown your produce, by looking them up in our 'Meet the Growers' section.

You do not have to select your full box contents, if you have spotted just a few items that you would particularly want to receive just let us know.

Remember. If you make a selection from the ‘Pieces & Fillers’ list it will automatically override any permanent preferences you may have. Also, if you decide you want to regularly use the ‘Pieces & Fillers’ system bear in mind that you have a standing order with us and if you do not send a message you will automatically receive your default order.
