Magie's American Pancake Recipe

Ingredients


350g Self Raising Flour (or plain flour and 3tsp baking powder)
1/2 tsp salt
330ml milk
1 egg
3 tbsp melted butter

Method


In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients and make a well in the centre. 

Add the egg, milk and melted butter. 

Whisk the batter until smooth. 

Medium heat a non-stick frying pan and melt about a tsp of butter.  Add a small ladle of batter mix to the pan.  The batter should be about 1cm thick.  When the pancake starts to form bubbles flip it over. 

Serve with sugar and lemon or butter and maple syrup.
